GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
RESERVATIONS / PAYMENT: Deposit of $350 per person required with the reservation form - space is limited, by December 15, 2008. Interim payment of $450 by May 1, 2009. Final payment is due by
July 24, 2009 Payment by credit card accepted, subject to a 3% service charge.
BAGGAGE: Transportation of one pieces of luggage per person on all flights and limited space on motorcoach. Excess baggage fees may be collected by the airline according to regulations.
CANCELLATION: All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations made before
July 24, 2009: all payments are refundable less a $100 fee. Cancellations made after July 24, 2009 and before August 24, 2009: 50% of the tour cost becomes non-refundable. After August 24, 2009: no refund.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Personal trip cancellation, travel accident and baggage insurance is recommended and available upon request.
VALUE HOLIDAYS RESPONSIBILITY:
Value Holidays and/or organizers act in the capacity of agents in all matters of transportation and tour operation, and its liability is limited to the terms of the tour packages. Value Holidays and/or its agents are not liable for delays, inconveniences, accidents, expenses or mishaps of any kind whatsoever resulting entirely, or in part, from negligence of others or from causes beyond their control. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour announced in this brochure and to make such alterations in the itineraries as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties and the proper operation of the tour. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour if such person’s health, mental well-being, or general character hinders the operation of the tour. No refund is made on any unused portion of this tour. Baggage is at owner’s risk at all times. Value Holidays is not liable for the defaults of other firms or agencies.
AIRLINE RESPONSIBILITY:
All participating carriers are responsible only for the air travel portion of this tour performed by it on behalf of tour participants in accordance with the terms and conditions of their individual passage contracts and subject to applicable laws, treaties and regulations governing air transportation. Tour services including, but not limited to, carriage by land or sea, guide services, hotel accommodations, restaurants and all services other than carriage by air, are furnished by contractors who are independent and do not act for or on behalf participating airlines. Participating airlines shall not be held responsible for any act, omission or event occurring prior to the tour participant’s embarkation upon or after his disembarkation participating airlines aircraft. The usual passage contract used by participating airlines when issued shall constitute the sole contract between participating airlines and the tour participant; and in purchasing a passage contract as a part of this tour, the participant acknowledges and accepts the foregoing conditions.
