In the year 2010, the tiny Bavarian village of Oberammergau will once again wholly devote itself to a tradition it has observed for centuries. It will present the Passion Play, a stunning chronicles of the life of Christ that is renowned throughout the world. From spring through fall, the townspeople will present nearly 100 productions, fulfilling a vow their ancestors made for being spared from the “Black Plague” in 1632.
