Beijing & Shanghai Tour with Yangtze Cruise Discovery
10 Days

DAY 1  BEIJING
On arrival in Beijing, you will be met & transferred by our professional English speaking guide to your hotel (Hengsheng Peninsula International Hotel or similar). Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Welcome dinner at a good local restaurant.

DAY 2  BEIJING
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day city excursion to Tiananmen Square-the largest square in the world, Forbidden City-imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty, and Temple of Heaven-here ancient emperors prayed for good harvest. Lunch at good local restaurants. You can choose the Peking Opera Show or Chinese Kungfu Show as optional in the evening.

DAY 3  BEIJING
Buffet breakfast at hotel followed by full day trip to the Great Wall at Badaling, the Ming Tombs and the Sacred Way with lunch at local Chinese restaurant. Peking Roasted Duck Dinner.

DAY 4  BEIJING/CHONGQING
Buffet breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the airport for flight to Chongqing. Arrive at Chongqing, you will be met at the airport & transferred to take a half day city tour, in the evening board your deluxe cruise ship for the Three Gorges river journey.

DAY 5  YANGTZE CRUISE
Depart Chongqing 8:00am. Shore excursion at Fengdu. Fengdu is known as the “Ghost City” and is a place for punishing the devil and awarding the good.

DAY 6  YANGTZE CRUISE
Pass through the magnificent Qutang Gorge and beautiful Wu Gorge. Transfer to a small sampan to cruise the Shennong Stream.

DAY 7  YANGTZE CRUISE/YICHANG/SHANGHAI
Visit the Three Gorges Dam. Sail through Xiling Gorge. Arrives in Yichang about 12:00. Be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival meet and transfer to hotel (Hengsheng Peninsula International Hotel or similar).

DAY 8  SHANGHAI
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a full day city tour with visit to the Yu Garden, the "Bund" and the Jade Buddha Temple with lunch at local Chinese restaurant. You can choose the Acrobatic Show as optional in the evening.

DAY 9  SHANGHAI
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Half day tour of the Shanghai Museum and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower where you can have a bird’s view of Shanghai. Lunch at local Chinese restaurant. Afternoon free for shopping.

DAY 10  SHANGHAI/HOME
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer to the airport for your flight home.
