Travel Medical Insurance Plan
A "MUST" For Any American Traveling Abroad!
TravMed takes over where your regular hospitalization and Medical
plan rarely go...into a foreign country. Don't take for granted
that your U.S. hospitalization plan provides its usual coverage
outside the U.S.A. You pay only a $25 deductible per accident or
sickness for required medical care. All further covered expenses
are paid by TravMed.
If you get sick or have an accident in a foreign country... TravMed
can help you locate medical care. With TravMed you can travel knowing
you have prepared for the unexpected. You get the help you need
to save your business trip or vacation... perhaps even your life.
Enjoy the MEDEX Worldwide Travelers Assistance security and peace
of mind when you purchase TravMed.
$100,000 Coverage for Medical and Hospital Expenses... and Many
Other Benefits
TravMed costs only $4.25 a day. The deductible is only $25.
TravMed provides you with up to $100,000 coverage for sickness or
accident.
This includes:
- Physicians' fees and hospital expenses
- Emergency dental expenses
- Emergency medical evacuation to home or hospital
- Repatriation of remains expenses
- Special trip expenses for accompanying travelers 18 years of
age and under to home residence
- Special trip expenses for bringing a family member to your side
And we do more...
TravMed also makes direct payments, if required, to the
physicians, hospitals and the organization handling the evacuation.
Travelers often find that doctors and hospitals require up-front
payment, which can delay treatment and drastically deplete a traveler's
cash. TravMed protects individuals from this financial concern.
MEDEX Travelers' Assistance around the World!
MEDEX will give you professional assistance very quickly, often
in minutes, after you call collect. Your MEDEX Assistance Coordination

You'll be answered in English by a multilingual specialist who
immediately goes to work to:
- Assist you in locating the nearest and most appropriate care

speaking doctors or translators
